It was another shock X-Factor exit last night as Paije became the latest wannabe to be sent home after a sing-off with Cher.
To stay in the competition Paije sang the Sam Brown hit Stop, while Cher – who I think cheated a bit – sang Stay by Shakespears Sister, a song she had sang in the live shows a few weeks back and was praised for.
Simon was the first to stick the boot into Paije’s career claiming he was going to go with the person he had continually supported and that was Cher.
Cheryl Cole was next to decide and said: This is absolutely the worst part. I absolutely hate this part. But I’m going to send home Paije.”
Dannii Minogue added: “This is just outrageous that either of you are there,” before sending home Cher, while Louis cast the deciding vote and sent Paije home.
What I find odd about this is that Louis has always championed Paije, he was afterall the one who pushed him through to bootcamp. However, he didn’t even take to results to deadlock, making me wonder whether the show is favouring Cher.
