Have you been watching The Good Wife? If the answer is ‘no’, then you’re either thick or you haven’t known it was on. Or maybe you’re not keen. Anyway, The Good Wife is a really wonderful piece of grown-up television and one of the stars of the show (who I happen to fancy a bit) Archie Panjabi has promised that the new season of the show will be “dark”.

What we’ve seen thus far has been tense and thrilling, but now, Panjabi explains that the show’s characters will be troubled by the arrival of a new partner at Lockhart & Gardner, played by Michael Ealy.

“Tough times are ahead,” she told Zap2It. “I think there’s going to be a lot of tension in the office. We’ve got a third partner coming in… I don’t know that they’ll like it.

“Everybody’s going to start getting nervous about what’s going to happen there. Definitely some dark stories coming, which I look forward to playing.”

Panjabi also revealed that she is excited about exploring her character Kalinda in more depth.

“I know they are definitely going to reveal something about her and why she’s so private,” she said. “I’m guessing it’s going to be some skeletons hidden in the cupboard coming out. It’s going to be a challenge to me to start revealing parts of Kalinda.”
