I’m not against Ian Wright earning a wage. Everyone is entitled to some cash. However, I am against anything that pays Ian Wright to open his mouth, talk, think or/and offer an opinion. That’s one of the (many, many) reasons Live From Studio Five is such a terrible, awful, tawdry programme. However, not according to our Wrighty.
Weirdly, Live From Studio Five managed to make Melinda Messenger almost likeable. Imagine a world that shows off a former presenter of Fort Boyard as the most enjoyable TV personality in a gaggle of three.
Well, Wright has said that he’s not really missing Melinda and that, in fact, she’s “annoying”.
The idiot-ex-footballer told The Sun that Messenger was a turn-off for viewers (ha!) because she would not give her colleagues a chance to speak during discussions on the programme. You have to say she had a sensible line of thinking.
Wright moaned: “Melinda would drown us out so many times and it was annoying. People don’t want to turn on to see people arguing.”
Messenger announced that she had quit Studio Five in January and made her final appearance on the show on February 26.

I watched the show and it was very clear that Melinda was the glue keeping the show together on her own. No disrespect to Kate – I think she does a good job, but clearly Melinda was the only professional presenter on Live From Studio Five.
For Ian Wright to say what he has said, is simply the pot calling the kettle black (no pun intended). He is inarticulate, without informed opinion and from what I saw of the show, clearly an embarrassment; the man is self projecting his own absolute lack of ability and lack of tv talent.
i watch the show nearly every nite and i thought malinda was annoying to be honest she use to make me turn it over and watch something else now i watch it all the time she aint on thank god. ian wright is a diamond love watchin him
Ian Wright is a prick full stop. Melinda was the making of the show. Kate and Wright are awful and the show just takes material from five news. It is better to watch channel five news than this show. Its an awful show and Melinda is far too good for it, i dont know why she had to do it in the first place, shes beautiful and intelligent. The country doesnt want to hear Ian Wright and kate walsh talking, Melinda was the only professional. Richard and Judy’s daughter is too good for this too.

She was not even good enough to win the Apprentice and now she has somehow managed to get a presenting job on the back of it.

Her presenting is childish and her fake bleached smile makes me want to puke.
The blonde girl Minnie or whatever her name is, is an absolute retard who thinks she is a kind of a list uber celebrity because she gets to stand out in the rain in the press area to get a 30 second interview with some movie star who is only there to promote their latest film.
This has to be the worst show ever commissioned on TV and how it is still on air is an absolute mystery, truth is it probably costs less to produce than an actual New Bulletin (which is what this show is doing for Channel 5, it counts as part of their news output)
