Dragons’ Den’s Duncan Bannatyne and Peter Jones will be squaring up and donning their dancing shoes for the Strictly Come Dancing Sport Relief special. Again. In this Sport Relief special the tables are turned on these business bastards who are more used to kicking people’s dreams to shreds than being judged themselves. Ditching their stuffy suits for sequins how will Duncan Bannatyne and Peter Jones, paired up with professional dancers Natalie Lowe and Lilia Kopylova, fare in front of judges; Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Len Goodman?
The show will be hosted by Tess Daly, who mystifying loves all that moth-ball nonsense and we’ll find out which of the Dragons will be crowned king of the dance floor (tune into Sport Relief on Friday 19th March on BBC One).
Of course, this is not the first time they will have ‘danced’. You may recall they’ve done this before in the name of charity and… well… provided something so alarmingly non-human that for a brief spell, I was utterly convinced that Duncan Bannatyne was a robot extra from Westworld who was going to end up killing half the studio audience. Peter Jones didn’t fare much better either, cavorting around like a giraffe in caliper leg braces.
I can’t moan too much though… Sport Relief has helped to raise over £80 million for good causes which is a very, very good thing. Hats off to the good work done… by which I mean mainly making celebrities look like idiots.
