We've seen him in the kitchen's of hopefuls talking about "zer munnay" and generally being rather brilliant all the time... now it's time to uncover the truth behind Raymond Blanc's Kitchen Secrets (BBC Two, Monday, 15 February, 8.30pm) as he cooks up all manner of tasty looking things and generally acts very, very French (in a nice way).
That's right! We've got a proper legendary chef to view on our TV and it's his first cooking programme in thirteen years.
The show is filmed in the lovely surroundings of his Oxfordshire restaurant kitchen. Most importantly, there'll be no bravado, swearing for the sake of looking edgy or anyone getting a dressing down for kicks.
This programme is all about achievable and inspirational recipes for cooks of all abilities.
The first show should have everyone melting into big piles of goo as Raymond focuses on chocolate recipes. We'll all be enormously obese by the closing credits but we'll be content.

Wow Raymond Blanc in real life....I learned more from that one programme than from weeks of Saturday cook shows!
Raymond is a master and so kind to share real methods that work.
