Lost fans start campaign (and show how mental they are)

L0ST.jpgFans of Lost are insane. They really are. If you tell a Lost fan a spoiler, they'll simultaneously become aroused and kill you on the spot. They've now launched a Twitter campaign to try to stop President Barack Obama. Okay, that's a bit much. They're actually trying to stop his State of the Union address delaying the show's season six premiere.

The sixth season premiere of Lost could well be pushed back after a potential clash with President Barack Obama's State of the Union address. The White House is said to be considering either Tuesday, January 26th or Tuesday, February 2nd.

If the second date is selected, ABC may be forced to delay Lost until February 9th.

Under the hashtag #NoStateofUnionFeb2, one fan wrote: "Hey Obama, don't mess with the Lost season 6 premiere *shakes fist violently* Go screw Idol over". Another impishly tweeted: "Barack Obama has clearly never seen Josh Holloway without a shirt on."

Another fan yelled (probably not entirely seriously, but you can never tell): "LOST IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN OBAMA!"

Some Twitter users have defended the White House, arguing: "Since when did TV shows become more important than the State of Union... crazy Americans."

The White House is yet to announce whether President Obama's speech will take place Tuesday February 2, or the week before on January 26.
