We speculated that Davina may well go into the Big Brother house last night and we were right! Or should I say ‘we were right to relay the reports we read elsewhere’? Either way, in she went and… well… we got one of the strangest segment of Big Brother ever.

With the final really not very far away at all, Ivana was voted out and Nicola T got the chop and was replaced… albeit very briefly… by Davina. Yep, after “10 years and 17 series”, our intrepid host finally got to enter the Big Brother house whilst there were other house mates in.

However, we got around 5 minutes of seeing a nervous McCall darting around the house in a chicken outfit, unable to speak and clearly freaked out by the relentless zombie march of the other housemates.

Seriously, it was like Dawn of the Dead. One segment saw Davina backed up against a wall with the majority of the housemates, also in farmyard outfits, slowly trudging toward her like there was going to be some horrifying gonzo sex attack. Grim viewing indeed.

However, we saw a pitiful amount of the action… which you can only hope is rectified in tonight’s highlights.
