TV and music twice collided this year to make the most memorable moments of 2009. First, we had Michael Jackson's funeral, which was brain rupturingly odd... then, out of the fug appeared John and Edward, startling all in their wake on The X Factor. Whilst MJ's memory is being kept alive in dubious tribute shows and dancing competitions, Jedward are alive enough to make their own show... and it looks like it's happening.

According to The Sun, John and Edward are to feature in a three-month fly-on-the-wall reality series. The show, which will be like the shows that starred Peter Andre and Katie Price, could be on our screens as early as January 2010. That's a matter of weeks away.

A source told the newspaper: "The boys have been swamped with offers. It has been a case of turning most things down, including I'm A Celebrity....

"The show will be the same glossy format as Jordan and Peter's, following their crazy antics day-to-day."

Apparently, John & Edward have already rejected a deal to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house next month. The pair are currently being managed by their former X Factor mentor Louis Walsh, who recently predicted "Jedward mania" for the future.
