I'm sure Mr Stephen Fry won't begrudge us using an image of the very lovely Zooey in this news story. As much as we love Stephen, he's not as nice to look at as Ms. Deschanel. Anyway, Bones, Sky1 darkly amusing cult hit crime drama is welcoming back Mr Stephen Fry in his guest role of Dr. Gordan Wyatt on the show.
On Thursday 19th November (9pm) in "The Dwarf in the Dirt", Fry is not the only actor to be guesting on the show. In December, Zooey Deschanel joins her sister Emily on-screen for the very first time on Sky1 (Thursday 17th December at 9pm) in "The Goop on the Girl".
Created by Hart Hanson and inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and best-selling novelist Kathy Reichs, Bones follows forensic anthropologist Dr Temperance Brennan (Deschanel) and FBI Agent Seeley Booth's (Boreanaz) work at the Jeffersonian institute solving crimes when the bodies are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that only the victim's bones can provide clues to their fate.
In "The Dwarf in the Dirt", Booth is still suffering some lingering effects from his brain surgery and has to get re-certified for FBI marksmanship. Unfortunately he's not the accurate shot he was before going under the knife and seeks help from Dr.Gordan Wyatt (Fry) at his new restaurant. Meanwhile Booth and Brennan investigate the death of a little person who was a former wrestling star.
And a special holiday-themed episode welcomes Emily Deschanel's sister Zooey to Bones for the very first time in "The Goop on the Girl". In this first-ever on-screen pairing of the Deschanel sisters, Zooey Deschanel plays Margaret Whitesell, a distant relative of Brennan. When Brennan's father, Max Keenan (guest star Ryan O'Neal), makes contact with Margaret, he invites her to spend Christmas with him and his daughter. Meanwhile, Brennan and Booth investigate the death of a man dressed as Santa Claus who was blown up after a botched bank robbery.
Sounds fun!
