The wait is almost over. True Blood, Alan ‘Six Feet Under’ Ball’s latest entry into the HBO canon, starts on FX tomorrow night (Friday 17 July, 10pm), and it really is a doozie. It stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer in a kick-arse vampire tale, imbued with Ball’s trademark intelligence and humour. It’s also filthy as you like. Series two is doing enormous business for HBO at the moment, but we’re getting series one right about now (which is obviously rubbish, but that’s what we have to live with).
