With Terry Wogan saying “we all know how rubbish Eurovision is” this week, and the small matter of the fact that the Eurovision Song Contest will be on telly next week, it only seems right that I should focus my quizzing action on the world’s weirdest televisual competition. How well do you think you know the mother of all singing competitions? Well, as ever, there’s only one way to find out (well, one way to find out on this particular site) and that’s to tackle the Midweek Mindbender!
1. A nice easy one to start with. Who will be taking over from Terry Wogan at the commentary chair this year?
2. Which Finnish monsters of rock won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest?
3. They won in ’96 with ‘Love Shine A Light’… who? (picture below)

4.Which country won the Eurovision in every year but one from 1992 to 1996?
5. We all know that the British entry for Eurovision this year has something to do with Andrew Lloyd Webber… but can you name the girl who is singing ‘It’s My Time’?
As ever, the answers are singing with a weird interpretive ice skater over the jump
How well did you do? Our comments are still Nil Points at the minute, so feel free to tell me on Twitter (@mofgimmers). Abuse is always welcome.
