I have to say I'm bored with the whole Katie Price/Peter Andre thing already (like I am with the MPs' expenses scandal). Please, just let them be and sort things out themselves. I'm not I understand all the this clamour to speak to them, to find out what Pete is thinking, to find out what bloody Jordan is feeling. I have my own feelings on Jordan, but their not really relevant - what is relevant is a young couple with some young children have split up, which is always sad. Was the writing always on the wall? How can any of us tell? One thing is for sure - Katie Price loves courting the media (see her comments in OK! magazine) and she's set to speak for the first time on television this week.

The last time we saw Katie and Peter on TV (if you discount their ridiculous series on ITV2, which has, in the wake of the spilt, enjoyed huge ratings) was the Piers Morgan thing, where she talked (sort of) openly about her abuse as a child and spoke on characteristically candid fashion on lots of other things.
Throughout she kept niggling and baiting her husband, who was sitting in the audience. 'Nuff said.
So it will be interesting to see how she goes on Jonathan Ross this week (Friday 29 May, 10.35pm), not least to see how she'll be in the green room and how Ross himself will handle the interview. Ultimately, I don't really care, but there will be plenty of people out there who will tune into this as a matter of high importance. TV event of the week? I'd rather watch Simon Schama.
