Heroes is a weird show; a show that really polarises people. On the one hand people have given it a good kicking, on the other people are proclaiming that this latest series is back to form. But I’ve been wondering whether this return to form is too little, too late. But good news… Heroes has been shown some faith by its US network NBC and has been renewed for another series.

The LA Time blog reports that NBC, who has had a tough year (like many TV channels), is at least holding onto its flagship dramas and comedies, as well as adding more to its roster.
The significant news, I think, is that Heroes has been renewed. I really did for the show’s future, because, as I mentioned in the top of the post, even though there has been a consensus from critics that the world over that this latest series is back to form – and the show’s hardcore, cult viewership is still there – the wider audience lost patience with the show a long time ago.
Before you ask, there’s no news as to what Heroes will be up to in its fourth series.
Good news for Heroes fans then, but fans of Chuck, Law & Order and My Name Is Earl have to wait – the network is, apparently, stalling on making a decision as to whether it will bring those two cult shows back for another run. Stalling on such a stalwart as Law & Order? Wow.
