As regular readers of this site will know, TV Scoop loves a bit of Restaurant action. Papa Raymond Blanc is an amazing host, Sarah Willingham and David Moore are pretty fierce as his judges, and the contestants/participants are always good value. The show has been voted in our end of year Top 10 two years on the trot, so forgive me for getting a teensy bit excited when I read that the show had been picked up for another series. The PR who contacted me that this year – thanks to the economic slump -  the competition could be the toughest yet. Yes, opening a restaurant will not get tougher than this.

The show wants to hear from any couples who think they too could run a restaurant. Married, friends, siblings, relatives, partners, colleagues – anyone over the age of 18 can apply. Experience of a restaurant or catering environment isn’t necessary but whether you’re a chef or a cleaner, a waiter or writer, Raymond wants to hear from people who are passionate about food and the dining experience. Yes, that’s Raymond. He wants to hear from you. How can you pass up an invitation like that?
