Blimey. What a week of TV we have in store. Loads and loads of stuff to watch. There's new series galore, there's a couple of finalés (Moses Jones and Whitechapel) and Rick Stein is the guest on Who Do You Think You Are? Television... you are spoiling us. Have a look after the jump for this week's picks.

1. Moses Jones (BBC Two, Monday 16 February, 9pm)
The final part of this excellent, grimy detective series sees Moses hide joy in a hotel for her safekeeping, but Solomon is not happy. Especially when Matthias and his gang come looking for her, leaving no stone unturned - the brothel is torched and Solomon, the man with the broadest shoulders on television, goes missing.

2. The Shield (Five US, Monday 16 February, 9pm)
Along with The Wire, The Shield is one of those American shows that people wet their pants over. It's back - now on Five US - and it's back with a bang. Vic Mackey and his copper crew try to play Armenian, Mexican and Salvadorian gangs off against each other. It's the final series so enjoy it while you can.

3. Whitechapel (ITV1, Monday 16 February, 9pm)
Another short-ish series reaching its climax, we'll finally find out whether this is genuine Ripper nonsense or just, erm, nonsense. The previews I've read don't make this out to be a satisfactory ending, but it has been rating well, so let's see...

4. Who Do You Think You Are? (BBC One, Monday 16 February, 9pm)
People love a bit of Rick Stein - so kind, so good in the kitchen, so nice etc - and this episode of the reliable WDYTYA? might make people love him that bit more. He finds that his father suffered from severe depression and, after electro-shock treatment, committed suicide when Rick was 18.

5. 30 Rock (Five US, Friday 20 February, 9pm)
I wasn't interested in 30 Rock too much until I saw Tina Fey in action during the recent US election. She was brilliant lampooning Sarah Palin, but now it's back to the day job in this dry sitcom. Jerry Seinfeld guest-stars in this series opener

6. Horizon: Can We Make A Star On Earth? (BBC Two, Tuesday 17 February, 9pm)
Another week, another quality doc from the Horizon strand. In tonight's episode, Brian Cox looks at nuclear fusion, which we're told is the future of civilisation.

7. Mad Men (BBC Four, Tuesday 17 February, 10pm)
It was a fine start to series two of Mad Men last week. Don Draper seemed to have turned over a new leaf, displaying more affection to wife Betty and his kids than he has for a long time. Betty, meanwhile, was flirting with other chaps like it was going out of fashion. The Don/Betty dynamic takes a back seat tonight when an airplane (carrying Pete's dad, among others) crashes into the Hudson River. The airline comes to Sterling Cooper for an ad makeover.

8. Billy Connolly: Journey to the Edge Of The World (ITV1, Thursday 19 February, 9pm)
The Big Yin has always been a fun TV travelling companion, and is always guaranteed to disrobe in the name of telejournalism. It's a real coup for ITV to get BC for his latest jaunt, and Journey To The Edge Of the World sees him travel through Canada, from Nova Scotia all the way over to Vancouver.

9. Motown At The BBC (BBC Four, Friday 20 February, 8pm)
This looks like a real treat. The BBC let the full power of its musical archives loose and plays out some live performances from soul greats like Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5. That's not all - this is just the start of a whole Motown night with documentaries to follow.

10. Britain's Conjoined Twins: Hope and Faith (Channel 4, Thursday 19 February, 9pm)
The sad story of the death of conjoined twins, Hope and Faith, captured the nation's hearts at the end of last year, and it was only a matter of time until their story was told on the telly. This is it, and tells the story of the girls' fight for survival.
