Watch Argentina's boobilicious version of Strictly Come Dancing

Oh. My. God. Or, in modern internet parlance, OMG! Actually no. It should be OMFG! I was reading all kinds of Strictly stories earlier on the week - the ones that said that the BBC show is the most successful TV franchise in the world (read this story here and here for evidence) - and there were various little boxes telling us about different versions and variations from around the world. Naturally, my eyes were drawn to Argentina's ratings-grabbing version, mainly because it features pole dancing, full-on snogging, loin clothes, PVC and other kinds of filth. So I decided to investigate. I apologise in advance. I am a dirty man.

For all our Strictly news and reviews, go here.

If you're a regular reader of TV Scoop, you will know that Ola Jordan and her outfits have been causing a stir up and down the land. Indeed, we have been reviewing and rating her outfits every week (when I say we, I mean me. I would never foist the blame for that feature onto the rest of the TV Scoop team), and we even asked if her catsuit in week one's show was just too much for a Saturday tea-time show.

But just look at this Argentine version. It's called Bailando Por Un Sueno and it is pure and utter dirt! Diego Maradona has once been on it, and the second series was won by a transsexual actress called Florencia De La V. In a bid to spice up (spice up? After a transsexual actress winner?!) the show, this year the producers decided to ship in 'nography stars and models.

Here's a clip:

Yes, you did see some extreme spillage there. Not surprising with the ratio of size of knocker to tightness of dress. The lady's name is, I think Mónica Farro, an actress who appears in biologically informative films. Can you imagine? Craig would have marked her down for putting herself back into her dress every time she spilled out.

And here's some PVC and some pole dancing. How funny?

No, I can't imagine John Sergeant doing the pole dancing, PVC chaps bit either. But to prove those frisky Argentinians can be relatively tasteful, here's a clip of something a little bit more in keeping with the original's concept. You can also have a look on this Spanish-language blog to see more extraordinary pictures - the dances and set-ups are so lavish and ridiculous it's like looking at a West End musical.
