Very excited, very excited. The Devil’s Whore is the kind of period drama that I can really sink my teeth into, and the fact it’s set during the English Civil War (a subject I’m really fascinated by) makes this a must-watch. It’s this Wednesday (19 November) on Channel 4 at 9pm and it stars Andrea Riseborough, The Wire’s Dominic West and the always-ace John Simm. Have a look at the trailer after the jump…
