OK, so I promised myself no more US election stuff, but this is too good to be true. I was out and about last night, so I missed last night's Newsnight. What I missed was Jeremy Paxman interviewing Dizzee Rascal (as well as Baroness Amos) about Obama's election and whether the UK could do the same at some point. Jeremy Paxman and Dizzee Rascal. In the same sentence, in the same programme. Slightly odd but totally amazing. This is what we need to be doing - engaging everyone in debate. It at least makes for brilliant TV. Paxman: "Why don't you run for office?" Dizzee: "See, that's a very good idea. I might have to do that one day. Dizzee Rascal for prime minister. S'appening." Cue lots of chuckling. Priceless.
