All this facespace and MyBook mularky is quit extraordinary, and can help make or break a political campaign, a romantic relationship and even someone’s bid to win a TV talent show. Just look at Diana Vickers. She’s doing very well on The X Factor and possesses a very fine voice (especially when you consider she’s only 17-years-old), but, as ever, you get onto TV and you’re there to be knocked down. While I was watching The X Factor on Saturday night, I was alerted to the fact that Diana does this weird claw thing with her left hand. Sure enough, there are two facebook groups that have sprung up out of nowhere with polarising views on Diana’s left hand.

The first one I (predictably) was, Get Diana Vickers And Her Stupid F**king Hand Off X Factor!! Slightly harsh perhaps, but let’s have a read of the person who started the group and what she has to say about her reasons for starting such a group:
“I just don’t get what all the fuss is about. Firstly she doesn’t annunciate when she is singing so it sounds like one big rambling sentence. Secondly the ‘quirky and original’ thing is just plain strange. If being quirky and original means looking like you haven’t brushed your hair for 5 years and have been dragged through a bush backwards then I would rather be boring and ordinary. Thirdly, does the girl not own a pair of shoes?! I mean what the f**k statement is she trying to make by coming out barefoot every week? Beyond me! And of course, last but not least I am going to make it my mission to travel down to London and cut off her fucking left hand if she does not stop touching her face with it. Yes, you have a hand, yes you have a face but you don’t need to caress it every week.”
Every coin has another side, and sure enough, there’s a group on facebook called The Diana Vickers Left Hand Fan Club. The man who started the group siad:
“To all fans of Diana Vickers’s left hand which is always there to provide Diana support in her journey to win the X Factor.”

I love her hand gestures, lack of shoes, quirky hair, boho-ish outfits, ridiculously long syllables when speaking, the squeak at the end of her notes when she sings, and her personality. Nope, I definitely have no problem with anything Diana does. I cannot wait to buy her albums and hope she tours here in America, as she has many many fans here!

Yeah the thing with her hand is irritating, but she’s been doing it less and less over the weeks. She just needs some performance coaching. I’ve been wanting her to win since the very first live show.
Diana Vickers sounds like a tortured cat on crack….she looks like a reject from a charity shop and she has some damn ugly feet…..Get rid of her, the girl has no talent…

To say such nasty things about someone when u dnt even no them wether you find them iritating or not its beyond me. I cant understand why people have so much hatred, if you found Diana annoying then why watch her!!

I absolutly love singing and am auditioning @ schools in London for Musical theatre degree course. Personally I think shes a great singer and im not too keen on what she does with her hand, but… so what! Thats her!
