Oh we all love a bit of Crufts. Lovely. The funny little doggies. The onomatopoeic name. So it was a bit of a shock when the mighty RSPCA pulled out of the show earlier this month, stating the show encourages dangerous deformities from over-breeding in certain kinds of dogs (the extreme sloping back of today's pedigree German Shepherd is a case in point). Following the RSPCA boycott, the Kennel Club has been in talks to try to save the show, and has touted it to ITV and Sky. No news yet.
