It's familiar territory for any half decent TV review this... TV Burp star Harry Hill has revealed that he can't really watch the TV with any sort of enjoyment anymore. Hill says that he pretty much keeps the TV knob turned to 'off' when he isn't looking for material for his TV Burp. Sadly for me, I can't stop watching the thing! Whether I'm working or not, I feel that I have to keep abreast of what's going on, to help shape my reviews. This essentially means that you're constantly working. Anyway, back to Harry... and the return of the Burp...

Hill told Radio Times: "The downside is it's virtually impossible for me to watch TV for the love of it because I've always got half an eye on the small detail. I almost can't bear to have it on unless I'm on the look-out for burps. It's got to the point where I'd rather do any job that doesn't involve watching hours of television. I'd even consider being a judge on Britain's Got Talent."

Discussing his preparation for the show, he explained: "It's quite a painful process because there's no limit to the amount you can watch. If you've got workaholic tendencies, you can always say, 'Yeah, I've got an hour to spare. I'll watch another Wife Swap.' It's very boring for my wife."

The good news for us TV watchers is that Harry Hill's TV Burp returns for a new series Saturday at 6.55pm on ITV1! Can't wait... and I might just take my reviewing hat off for the occasion!
