This really looks the business, doesn’t it? We’ve brought you news of Merlin, the BBC’s latest family drama series, before but a trailer has now been released (a trailer for cinemas no less), and it looks very glossy. And quite like Harry Potter. The trailer is over the jump, and in it you’ll see Richard Wilson as Gaius, Anthony Head is King Uther Pendragon and Colin Morgan is the young Merlin. There seems to be the theme in the series that magic is an outlawed thing in King Uther’s land, and Merlin isn’t too happy to be someone who has special gifts in this field. It starts next month and I reckon it’ll be on Saturday nights, just before Strictly and Casualty.
