Blackadder to return in 2010?

Warning. Revivalism is rampant in this article.

I love Teletext. I used to love reading completely opinionated music reviews on there because they still had that fanzine mentality. I don't get me started on Bamboozle. Best TV quiz ever. I loved the cruddy graphics and I especially liked watching the numbers whir 'round before you got to the Now and Next page. Even better was the way half the screen disappeared. Sadly, the web has replaced our need to 'page the Oracle'.

So it seems quite apt that something that was mindfryingly important 25 years ago should give me the news that Blackadder could be revived in 2010. Tony Robinson (soil botherer) told Teletext that the cast will meet up later in the year to discuss potentially bringing back the show to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Blackadder II.

Robinson, who played Baldrick, told Teletext: "We always had a fantasy of doing it again in 2010, so we'll be having that conversation. I would love to do it and suspect Rowan Atkinson would too."

Created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson, then joined by writer Ben Elton for the second series, the BBC's Blackadder encompassed 24 episodes and three specials from 1983 to 1999. Here's a classic clip to sink your gnashers into...

Oh,great!
We blackadder fans have been dreaming for years for this!
We do anything to support this idea!

I do like any idea related to blackadder.
Maybe it should be written in a little bit light way yet funny and with implications as usual.
When talking about one thing, and you're just trying to say something else, that is the point.
