The sun is out, so I'm in a particularly lazy mood. This section is where I normally try to be witty or talk about the week we've all had... but I can't be bothered today. The sun does that to me. All my thoughts currently revolve around drinking whiskey macs and the fear of my beloved Bolton getting relegated this weekend...
Friday - Derren Brown: Trick or Treat, Channel 4, 10pm
Friday nights on Channel 4 have got great again... for two shows at least. At 10pm, we've got the brilliantly creepy 'psychological illusionist' Derren Brown who continues his mischief from the pub quizzery of last week with something more sinister. Namely, imploring a young woman to kill a kitten in a box rigged up to the mains. Then, to recover, you can watch Peep Show which follows it... and even I'm enjoying the new Peep Show episodes. Weird!

Saturday - ER, Channel 4, 8pm
I'm as surprised as anyone at my enjoyment of this show, but this, I think the penultimate series, has been marvelous. Camp drama, crying, relationship breakdowns... as trashy TV goes, this is the best and most classy.
Sunday - Match of the Day, BBC One, 10.20pm
Sunday is all about the football. It's the last day of the Premier League season and for once, all the matches are kicking off at the same time. It looks like Man United have won the league, so the real thrill comes at the foot of the table where a whole clutch of teams face the drop. Football fans, rejoice in the most exciting day of the season... non-fans, cheer on a few weeks off from Lineker & Co.
One To Avoid - Scallywagga, BBC Three, Saturday, 11.05pm
Possibly the worst comedy ever made. Even a drain wouldn't laugh at this pish.
