Simple question: Is Pulling better than Gavin and Stacey? The latter has just won a spectacular amount of awards and dominated column inches over the last week or so, and some are already getting tired of it. The Guardian's Gareth McClean said it was too schmaltzy or something, and said that Pulling was a much better show in every department. After Gavin and Stacey's wonderful finale last week, I stayed on to watch Pulling and the two couldn't be more different - one is feel-good and the other is edgy and dark. So what do you think? Which one is better?

Quite simply, Pulling is one of my favourite things on the box. Although, I do think a comparison is a unusual one to make. I suppose the one thread they share is that they both have a very real element to them.
Gavin and Stacey is okay, but Pulling is spray-beer-out-of-your-nose funny.
