I know I just blathered about the fact that a person can get too much of someone if they're on the telly too much, but I'm just about to shoot my argument down. If there is ONE person I don't mind being on telly that much, it's Strictly's Anton Du Beke. He's a grand, bonny, lad, makes me chuckle and just seems like an old-school gentleman (he can dance a bit too). He'll be back with Strictly later on this year, that's for sure (I do hope he gets a partner who can dance this year), but he's just been signed up for his first ever presenting job. It's long overdue in my opinion.

The professional dancer and all-round good egg will present So You Think You Can Cook on BBC One, according to today's Sun (so it must be right). The show will pitt amateur cooks against the cream of the British cheffing industry, and Anton will be holding court and making the show go swimmingly, I'm sure.
