BBC One doesn’t set the world alight tonight (rhymes), so let’s go straight to BBC Two. The rock-hard pairing of Bill Oddie’s Wild Side (8) and Johnny’s New Kingdom (8.30) make for a formidable wildlife double-bill, Torchwood is at 9, and the terrific Wonderland is on at 9.50. The big show tonight is Rock Rivals on ITV1 at 9, starring Michelle Collins as one of the judges on a hit TV singing talent show. It’s bound to be tackier than anything you’ve seen ever, so it’s worth a watch. The majestic Dexter continues after the news. Loving it.
