I have to say, I’m pinning my sanity on Dexter (ITV1, Wednesday, 10.35pm). If I’m gonna watch ITV1 for a whole week solid, without break, there’s surely got to be at least one decent programme? Even though I’ve got a feeling that this is the one, it’s still a bit bleak when my happiness hinges on a show about a serial killer.

Regardless, episode two of this show has prompted the normally board-stiff Radio Times to declare “bloody marvelous!” so Dexter must be doing something right. Basically, Wednesday sees Dexter, a killer who works for the police, hunting someone who kills cops. Of course, aside from the helpfulness, Dexter has to live up to the ‘serial killer’ tag, and this week, it looks like a drunk-driver who gonna get chopped. Strangely, I’m looking forward to this.
