We like Martin Freeman. Very good comic actor, and just seems such a good bloke (that’s not meant to be patronising either, nowt wrong with being a good bloke). ITV, who Mof spent a whole week in the company of, has announced that he will star in a quirky new comedy series called Boy Meets Woman. It’s going great guns at ITV today and the series has already started filming up in Manchester and everything.

Martin plays dreamer Danny, whose slacker life is turned around when he gets hit by lightning and wakes up to find himself trapped inside a woman’s body. Not just any woman’s body either… glamorous fashion journalist Veronica Burton (Rachel Stirling from Tipping The Velvet). He has to learn how to walk in stilettoes and deal with her boyfriend Jay. Meanwhile, Danny has to figure out a way to get back t his old life, even if his new one is actually quite good. Marshall Lancaster (Ashes To Ashes) and Angela Griffin co-star.
