Guess what medical drama fans? ER is looking like it's going to be picked up for another season! Just when you thought that the show was about to bid thee farewell, as it was expected to finish this year, plans for its send-off were hampered by the writers' strike. Now NBC is likely to give the show one final season - its 15th on the air - although the number of episodes has yet to be determined.
At ER's peak, the show would regularly drag over 30 million bums on seats, but of late, the show has slowed down to an average of 9.4 million. Oddly, after years of not really liking the show, I'm now getting into it. Typical. Casting for the new season has already begun, with Aida Turturro (or Janice from The Sopranos) and Australian actor David Lyons both in line for recurring roles.
