Really looking forward to this. Mad Men, recent Golden Globe winner, looks stylish, intelligent and addictive. It’s written by a bloke who was involved with The Sopranos, and it tells the story of the new and exciting advertising industry in America at the start of the 1960s. The country had come out of the post-war economic slump, and they had just cottoned on to the fact that products, of any kind, could be sold to a public who wanted to buy. Here’s a clip.
