I’m laying low today because I’ve just had a wisdom tooth out and I’m feeling sorry for myself. However, I will, after a few swills of salty water, be back to full strength tonight to live blog the final of Masterchef. Because I couldn’t find any new pictures of Masterchef, I’ve used a picture of a tiny pony instead.

I thought Masterchef was great last night, after the insanity of the ‘jungle episode’ the night before. It was crazy-intense stuff, with so much cooking and full-on challenges I almost passed out. Afterwards, I went into the kitchen to make my own tea but was a mess – I thought everyone was watching me and I could hear Gregg and John shouting “cooking doesn’t get tougher than this” from behind the washing machine. Anyway, the final should be great tonight. My money’s on James, but who knows? Join me for live shenaniganalia from 8pm.
