What a curious but potentially highly entertaining appointment. Barry Humphries, of Dame Edna fame, has been added to the judging panel of upcoming BBC musical talent contest, I’d Do Anything. Proving that he will indeed do anything, Barry will sit alongside John Barrowman and Denise Van Outen (the Lord Webber on his throne) during the series, which follows How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? and Any Dream Will Do.

This time the series looks for two leads in Cameron Mackintosh’s new version of Oliver… Nancy and Oliver. Look out for Bazza and Lord Wezza next month (ie. March, which is in a day or so’s time).
