It's been coming for quite a while now, and finally Channel 4 has announced the contestant line-up for Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack and the first celeb to take the controls. Little Britain's Matt Lucas will be in the hotseat tonight (Channel 4, 9pm), with the likes of Jimmy Carr, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Keith Lemon, Malcolm McClaren (if he doesn't run away), Brian Sewell, Joan Rivers and Ian Wright popping up throughout the series. Of course, the deal is that the stars become Big Brother, while the 12 contestants will number all sorts of politicians and 'talented' people (I'm being careful not to lump those two types of people together).

I have no idea whether this is going to work or not, so we'll have to wait and see what kind of mischief each celebrity brings to each show. For sure, there's not the usual buzz to the start of a Big Brother series, but this is an EXPERIMENT (and a way to get out of celebs making idiots of themselves).
