Of course, most houses will be showing the footy on Wednesday night… but seeing as most abodes have more than one telly, those repulsed by the beautiful game can flick over to the portable in the bedroom and watch something that is both ‘game’ AND ‘beautiful’. How to Look Good Naked (Channel 4, Wednesday, 8pm) is back on our screens and surprisingly great… sorta.

Gok Wan drags more women to their feet and tells them that they shouldn’t be unsatisfied with their body and in fact, should cheer and shout about their womanliness. Gok meets 40-year-old Cindy who, like many women, has forgotten about herself in the name of bringing up her kids. Naturally, this won’t wash with Gok as he twirls and pirouettes around the shops offering fashion tips and the like. Most importantly, Mr Wan will crudely grab “tits” and “arse” and coo “Good God woman! That’s a cracking pair of norks!” Thankfully, Wan doesn’t bully, but rather, bludgeons women into believing that they a marvelous… and we should applaud him for it.
