I couldn’t let this story go without commenting on it. Heather Mills McCartney (is she still known as Mills McCartney, or is it just Mills these days) used yesterday to go mental on telly. And who can blame her? In some ways, I feel sorry for her. I do not know her or claim to know what she’s been up to, but it does seem that the media has really gone for the Mucca jugular. This sort of pressure must be unbearable, and I can understand why she decided to go on these programmes to get her side of the story over. Of course, it was a pre-meditated PR exercise, but I don’t think anyone was expecting the emotional outburst that made the headlines.
So should we feel sorry for her? I do to some extent, but this clip here – when she pouts, “It’s the truth” – reduced me to laughter. Is that bad? I don’t envy her and I wouldn’t like to be in her position, but it’s obvious that she’s feeling the pressure (wow Paul, now there’s a left-of-field insight!). It just does my head in when these pouts and faux emotion goes over the top. I wonder which under-pressure sleb will be next to use the power of television to air their grievances?

No, I do not feel sorry for her in the least. She should take a clue from Paul and just keep her mouth shut. Her ranting and raving made me think of something. As people we usually contain some of our bad behaviors in front of others, but she doesnt. She rants and goes on and on. It made me wonder what she is really like in private when she doesnt get her way. I bet in private her rantings are even worse. Wonder what kind of Mom that makes her? Is she going to “go off” on her daughter like that someday? Of course she will. The only reason the media still talks about her at all is because she is the one keeping her name in it! When is the last time we heard anything about the impending divorce? The last time SHE brought it up. I wish the media would wise up and not give her any attention. She needs to go lick her wounds and improve her mental status for the sake of her daughter. (just take a look at Britney and her kids, I see Heather going down the same road)Her recent TV interview just made her appear crazy and out of control. Where’s her lawyer?? He/she should advise her better!
I agree with Pat. I have really no sympathy for her. Of course i admire what she’s done, and what she’s raised for charity, but i can’t stand her as a person. As pat says if she leaves well alone, she wouldn’t have so much backlash.
Also, if what she’s saying is true, why doesn’t Paul McCartney make a statement to the press and say “look guys leave her alone”.

Look at the history and the stuff that they’ve found out about her in the past – from nude photos to being an escort. I don’t feel sorry for her – she knew exactly what she was doing and indeed is doing. She’s just trying to maximise the money she gets.
Well I for one feel sorry for Heather and Paul what a modern day witch hunt if you ask me it’s a tragic story and Heather is the one being crucified with the media “Lets get Heather” circus. Enuff is enuff! Why wouldn’t she be credible becuz of our love for Paul McCartney?
