You simply MUST tune in to The Restaurant (BBC Two, Wednesday, 8pm). Coupled with the Thursday show (BBC Two, Thursday, 8pm), it will simply provide you with the highlights of the TV week. When food meets reality TV, you tend to get a recipe for success. Hell’s Kitchen always does well in the ratings. The Great British Menu was a cracking and credible piece of reality TV. However, The Restaurant eclipses them all.
Over the last few weeks, the tension has been slowly upped and now, it’s getting so taut that you find yourself drained after each show. It’s great!
