After the unceremonious firing of Isaiah Washington, the big-mouthed actor’s co-stars have been talking about life on the Grey’s Anatomy set without him. Patrick Dempsey, known to his female fans as McDreamy, was involved in the on-set argument that spelt the end for Washington and is pleased with the new group dynamic: “It’s a lot lighter, people are having more fun. The energy and the adjustments make a big difference.”
Candid colleague Katherine Heigl has also spoken on the past troubles and commended outed T.R.Knight on how he handled the uproar: “It wasn’t even me who (Washington) was talking about, but I felt so infuriated and angry because that was the only opinion getting heard. Shouldn’t T.R. have something to say? But he was right. To say nothing at all is the most dignified thing he could do for himself and for what really happened that day and for the whole situation. And it speaks volumes.” So it’s dignified to keep your mouth shut then Katherine? Hmm.
