We all know that HBO is a byword for quality (even though its benchmark shows like The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under and Deadwood are now finished), but this report over on the Pittsburgh Post Gazette says that one of its new shows, Tell Me That You Love Me, features scenes of extreme sauciness – full penetration, masterbation and oral sex. Yikes!
The series, which tells the story of couples in various states of councelling (among them Lost’s Sonya Walger), has already left critics open mouthed during press screenings. With all those great series now at an end, I suppose HBO has to come up with some new headline-grabbing material. Looks like it has turned to sex to pull the viewers back in.
