Excitement mounts in the world of Heroes and its fans both on this side of the Atlantic and the other. Here, the rerun of the first series is due to start on BBC Two this month (no schedule details available yet), while over there, they’re shaping up for series two to get underway with news http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0444098/of some interesting new characters revealed today. What am I saying? They’re ALL interesting characters.
Star Trek: Enterprise star Dominic Keating (he played Lieutenant Malcolm Reed for those – millions – of you that didn’t watch the doomed franchise-killer) joins Heroes as an Irish villain with as-yet unknown special powers.
The second new character to be announced will be played by actress Dianna Agron, lately of axed cult drama Veronica Mars. Agron will play a cheerleader alongside Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet). Please don’t tell me we’ll have to save TWO cheerleaders to save the world this time!
These two join David Anders for the second series. His character was announced in an earlier release – a 1,000 year old man called Kane.
