Have you got a son or a daughter (I could have simply put 'child' couldn't I?) who really digs the magical world of Harry Potter and crew? I've haven't read the books or seen the films so I don't understand the fuss, but that shouldn't mean a damned thing to you. What am I talking about? Oh yes. If you have a child that likes Harry Potter, you'll be thrilled to know that to celebrate the publication of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Blue Peter has launched a nationwide competition for 25 children to win a trip to see the Blue Peter Studios and guest, JK Rowling.
To enter the competition, children need to write down a question they would like to ask JK Rowling. On the opposite side of their A4 piece of paper, they then need to draw a portrait of themselves, as a witch or a wizard. For more details, visit the Children's BBC website (by clicking here) and click on Blue Peter, but get a wriggle on because the closing date is Friday 15 June.
Editor, Richard Marson, says: "We have always been great supporter of JK Rowling, so we are delighted she has decided to appear on our Blue Peter special, which will be shown on 20 July."

Cool! (and there's more excellent Shiny team book news at www.trashionista.com!) :D
