Sir David Jason, who starred in Sky One’s hugely successful adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather, has signed up to star in the channel’s next big adaptation of the fantasy writer’s work, The Colour Of Magic. Hogfather was Sky One’s big break-out success last year (one the channel’s few bright programming spots). In Hogfather, Sir David played Death’s little helper Albert, but for The Colour Of Magic he’s signed on to play wizard Rincewald (correction.. big typo.. sorry, it’s been a long morning already RINCEWIND!). He told The Sun: “I liked Hogfather, but The Colour of Magic is better.”
