Lovely Kylie Minogue is set to star in the Doctor Who Christmas special as a Cyberman. Or, in this case, a Cyberwoman. According to the News of the World, the diminutive Aussie chirruper is keen to get back into acting, and she's thrilled at being asked to appear.
Apparently, her chum, stylist Will Baker, persuaded her to take the role. How owns a life-size Dalek at home and designed the silver space suit she wore for her 2002 Fever tour. Top man we say.
News of the World quote an 'insider' saying: "The Doctor Who team are delighted they've got someone as sexy and high profile as Kylie to ensure they win the annual ratings battle with ITV."
Head honcho Russell T Davies has already met with Kylie to discuss the part and the 'insider' was also quoted as saying: "Russell is just putting the finishing touches to the episode and it will be TV dynamite."
Having Kylie along for the Doctor Who party is all well and good, in fact it sounds like quite a laugh, but what I want to see is another ex-Neighbours star pitched into the show too – Bouncer versus K9 anyone?
