Ah, the British Comedy Awards (tonight, ITV1 9pm, ITV2 10.30pm), the awards show it’s ok to like. Put enough comedians in a room together, get them drunk – and bored – enough, and eventually someone, surely, is going to say something outrageous, controversial, or borderline illegal. That’s why it’s so fun! Oh, and then there’s the small matter of giving and receiving awards… This year it’s pretty much Extras vs. Mitchell and Webb (in either their own sketch show, or Peep Show) and I know where my allegiances lie…
