Since Big Brother ended, Russell Brand has been busy continuing his womanising ways at the Edinburgh Festival. Today, though, it looks like "the womanising circuit" has landed Brand in a bit of hot water, with this morning’s papers reporting that Edinburgh police would like to question the comedian about  rape allegations involving a 20-year-old woman. There’s no indication that Brand is being charged for the rape, only that an incident occurred in the flat.

A police spokesman said: "We are investigating a report of sexual assault which is believed to have happened in a flat in Edinburgh.A number of people have still to be traced and interviewed, and as such we cannot comment further."

Brand is said to currently be holidaying in Morocco, ahead of his September tour of England. He’s the second star of BB7 to be questioned in relation to rape allegations – contestant Sezar missed the Big Brother final as he was otherwise engaged answering bail…
