Coca Cola Zero advert makes me smash my TV up.

Coca-Cola Zero. Now there’s an idea. Coke, but without
sugar. Just like Diet Coke and Tab Clear. I shan’t whimper on about yet another
huge corporation peddling some cack in an attempt to up sales, as, after all,
that’s what they do. However, their advert for Coca-Cola Zero is just about the
most annoying thing on TV
(maybe level pegging with the Sheila’s Wheels ad).
There is a smuggo thirty something woefully trying to pass himself off as a
young buck… strutting around some identikit city with a load of other
disaffected men, wondering why life can’t be more like a fizzy drink that lacks
sugar.

“Why can’t everything be like Coke Zero?” This is to underline that you
can have something good, without something bad (Pop without sugar- WOO!). Y’know,
like, “Work mates without the work”, or y’know, the burning issue that carries
throughout the advert. “Why can’t a huge corporation make an advert that
doesn’t treat the viewer like a complete moron”. Or better yet, “Why can’t
Coca-Cola make their product without paying their subordinates a pittance, and
making a grotesque profit at the expense of everyone, and everything else?”
Zero? You’ve got something right Coke.[Mof Gimmers]

The really ironic thing about this post is how good ol’ Google Ads has helpfully inserted a load of Coke-related adverts into it. Sometimes t’Interweb thwarts yer every move ;o)
