If you’re sick of the antics in the Big Brother house, maybe you’d like to see the other side of the coin in a house of a completely different water: a House of God? Following on from the success of The Monastery, BBC2 repeats the experiment next Wednesday when four women are sent to "Conventry" (ouch, sorry!) for forty days.
The advent-ures (somebody stop me!) of Iona, Victoria, Angela and Debi are followed over four episodes starting 14 June from their first day at the Convent of the Poor Clares in Arundel, West Sussex. Apparently they find it much harder to adapt to the strictures of monastic life than did the men. Please, no jokes about "getting into the habit."
