Things are looking … well … impossible for the Doctor. Toby isn’t quite himself, the Ood have decided to start serving themselves, the Beast is rising from the pit and the planet is spiralling into the black hole. Still, he is on "The Impossible Planet." Can the Doctor make two negatives into a positive? Do impossible things on the impossible planet make a solution … possible?
What does the ancient writing – writing so old that even the Tardis can’t translate it – mean? And talking about the Tardis – what has really happened to it? The Doctor and Rose are running out of time – quite literally, because things will get an awful lot slower as they approach the event horizon: the tightest of tight spots they have ever been in.
