Before Jason Lee grew a tache, a pot belly and gave us all a reason to stay in on a Friday night (thanks to the sheer excellence of My Name is Earl), he was a street skater of no mean talent, popping up in a Spike Jonz’s skateboard promo, Video Days. Oh, and he named his hapless son Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf Lee after the excellent Grandaddy tune, He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot. So good healthy Hollywood stuff all round, really. The only bad news? He’s a Scientologist.
Here’s a video courtesy of You Tube of him, "busting his ass for a skate part".
