Excellent timing from the folks at Eat Cinema, who've given us another reason to stay indoors on this horrible cold day with the launch of their new 24/7 movie news TV channel.
New digital channels seem to be two-a-penny at the moment, but this one's a proper treat – especially for those of us already decking the sofa with popcorn and Pro Plus for Sunday night's Oscars.
The channel describes its line-up as "a varied menu of programmes designed to inspire and remind the nation of the edifying effects of a trip to the cinema", which means loads of movie shows. Programmes include Just the Ticket, a rundown of the week's new movie releases, and The Big List, which unveils the results of polls on the channel's website.
There are also shows that go behind the scenes, shows that accost zelebs on the red carpet, shows where the zelebs get to sit down indoors for an interview... lots of stuff.
Unless you watch lots of Sunday lunchtime C4, you probably won't know the presenters. The line-up includes fabulously-named T4/MTV boy Anthony Crank, his MTV mate Toby Amies, who's also an honest-to-goodness real-life filmmaker (calm down loves, it's not Toby Anstiss); Beeb West Country local presenter Tessa Dunlop, "cult babe" Emily Booth and ITV2 odd jobber Matt Brown.
